It has come to our attention that various individuals have been receiving unsolicited text messages from unknown parties recommending the purchase of ZYTO stock (symbol ZYTC) promising exorbitant returns.
This could be what is commonly known as a “pump and dump” scheme where scamming parties will purchase the stock of a company and then try to artificially inflate the price of the stock through a vigorous and misleading advertising campaign. If enough investors purchase a given stock based on the misleading advertising campaign the stock price could be artificially increased. These scamming parties then sell the stock at the artificially price increase thus potentially causing an artificial price decrease. On the other hand, it could also be part of a scheme whereby scheming short sellers of our stock perpetrate the scam to discredit our company in the eyes of investors and thereby encourage a sell-off. Either practice is in contravention of United States law 15 U.S.C. § 78(j) which prohibits manipulative and deceptive practices in regards to securities.
Zyto has been proactive about this news and has reported what it knows to the SEC.
If you or anybody you know have received these text messages or any other deceitful or misleading advertising promising an exorbitant price increase on Zyto stock we urge you to immediately report all information to us at (866)369-2265 or to the SEC at enforcement@sec.gov.
