LINDON, UT, November 24, 2015 – ZYTO President and COO Kami Howard was awarded a 2015 Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year on the same weekend that the Utah based business was announced as one of Utah’s Top Workplaces in a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics and reported by The Salt Lake Tribune. This is the second year in a row that ZYTO and its president have been the recipient of these awards.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run. The 2015 awards received entries from 24 nations and territories and were selected by more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process.
“ZYTO is very fortunate to have such a high caliber leader here in Utah County”, said Executive VP George Wright – referring to a recently published study that linked negative bias towards female employees as the root cause of Utah’s wide gender wage gap. “Kami is deserving of this international recognition and is an example that women are a powerful force in Utah Business.”
“I think I speak for all of our employees when we say that we couldn’t be prouder of Kami for receiving this well-deserved award.” said Dr. Vaughn R Cook, CEO of ZYTO.
Nicknamed the Stevies (the Greek word for “crowned”), the awards were presented to winners on Friday November 13th during a dinner event attended by more than 400 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
