LINDON, UT, November 29, 2017 – ZYTO, a company that develops biocommunication technology to help people make better wellness decisions, has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by The Salt Lake Tribune for the 4th year in row. “We’re delighted to be recognized for the fourth straight year as one of the top workplaces in Utah,” said ZYTO Founder and CEO Dr. Vaughn R Cook. “This is an important achievement for us, as it is determined by our employees and how they feel about ZYTO.”
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.
“Who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
Employees pointed to a number of factors that they say make ZYTO a great place to work. Among them are an encouraging atmosphere, opportunities for growth, and that people are open to new ways of doing things. “I feel appreciated at ZYTO because they are very good at pointing out the positives,” said one ZYTO employee. “They are also willing to listen and try implementing your ideas.” Another employee stated that, “ZYTO makes employees feel valued and important.”
ZYTO is a technology company founded in 2004 by Dr. Vaughn R Cook. The company provides biocommunication hardware and software with wellness and lifestyle applications that include obtaining and analyzing galvanic skin response data from the human body to assist in making better wellness decisions.
